The Sidamo growing region is located in the highlands south of the capital city of Addis Ababa. Ethiopia has a tremendous tradition of coffee and innumerable heirloom varieties that still grow wild to this day. Guji is a cultural area and formerly a separate ethnic zone, occupied primarily by the Guji Oromo ethnic group.
Coffees from these southern areas of Sidama have a unique flavour profile resulting from a slightly drier climate compared to other coffee growing regions in Ethiopia.
Lighter roasted to enhance the fruit characteristics. Flavours of exaggerated stone fruits, blueberry and cherry with floral orange blossom.
This coffee has been specially selected for plungers, pour-over, cold brew and cold drip brewing methods.
