Coffea Café

With the Queen Victoria Market at our back door, Coffea has access to one of the world’s best pantries! We use it to create Italian inspired fresh seasonal food.

Our chefs wander through the market every morning to get inspired by whatever is fresh and seasonal. That may be a beautiful bunch of crisp Victorian asparagus, some ripe blushing peaches, a plump fresh quail, or some just caught sardines from our favorite fishmonger.

Our dishes are different each day, as are our selections of pannini and foccace.  Our Italian style cakes and biscuits are all baked on the premises. We offer an ever changing array of regional Italian cakes, including our signature “Castagnaccio”, made with chestnut flour, pine nuts and rosemary.
